Hello, I am Laurent Louail, the Executive Vice President of the CIF division in Europe, and I would like to welcome you as a new member of our team and Bureau Veritas. I am proud to be part of the BV family, and to lead the Operating Group.

You're starting in our team and we and our company are in a challenging period! We continue to build on our historical and evident strengths. I started at Bureau Veritas more than 20 years ago. Here, I have had the opportunity to work in many different areas and countries. You will make your own journey as part of the Bureau Veritas team. My personal mission is to create an environment in which people can develop, perform well and work closely together to achieve goals.

I'm Kathryn Dolan, Vice President of Human Resources at the CIF division in Europe. I started at Bureau Veritas 2 years ago, and for me this was the perfect decision.

OUR OPERATING GROUP – COMMODITIES, INDUSTRY & FACILITIES (CIF) SOUTH & WEST EUROPE

Our Operating Group covers 26 countries in Europe for the Commodities and Industry & Facilities business line. You can find more information about our portfolio, our services and customers on the Bureau Veritas Group website. Our division generates a turnover of more than €600 million. With this, we represent 18% of the entire Bureau Veritas Group turnover.

You will start in a team where more than 6,000 people work on Shaping a World of Trust. Together, we focus on providing an optimal service to our customers and society every day.

Our Operating Group is divided into several regions. You will be part of your own country, region and Operating Group team. What is unique about Bureau Veritas is that we are able to combine independence and entrepreneurship at local and individual level with our international strength.

The Operating Group regions are:

• North East Europe – Austria, Germany and Switzerland
• South East Europe - Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Cyprus, Greece, Italy, Hungary, Malta, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia and Ukraine.
• South West Europe – Portugal and Spain
• United Kingdom and Ireland
• Nordics – Denmark, Finland and Sweden
