3rd Party Inspection services provided to GUPCO for Taurt project

Bureau Veritas has been awarded by GUPCO - JV Company grouping BP and state oil firm EGPC (Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation) - an important contract for the Taurt Field Development Project (TDP) located 72 Km offshore Port-Said in the Eastern Mediterranean Sea. The project represents the first subsea development for BP in Egypt and will be BP's longest gas tie-back to shore.
The Main objective of the Project is the installation of a 20 dia. 72 km long Sub Sea Pipeline - SPS – Umbilical with Tie in to existing Onshore Gas Plant ''Ha'py'' West of Port Said City.

Bureau Veritas Scope of Work for Taurt Field Development includes inspection of all major equipment and bulk materials at Supplier's works in Egypt and other Countries, survey of fabrication and installation, with assistance to start up and commissioning.
